In the afternoon of May 8, 2015, at the Grand Square – Becamex Hotel in Thu Dau Mot Town, Binh Duong Province, Binh Duong Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with Becamex IDC Corporation and the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) organized one workshop on “Supporting Industry and Supply Chain”.
Attending the event were Mr. Ho Van Binh – Deputy Director of Binh Duong Department of Industry and Trade, Mr. Vit Pravith – GS1 Thailand President, Mr. Trinh Tuan Kien – GS1 Vietnam Representative, Mr. Adul Khaolaoor – FTI, representatives of Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Foreign Affairs, Becamex IDC Corporation and so on. At the same time, participating in the program there were 08 Thailand leading companies in the supporting industries on information technology services, bar code technology, wave paper production, incandescent, adhesion technology, the Rubber, electronics, telecommunications, automobiles, motorbikes, construction, foodstuffs, … and more than 50 enterprises in the province participated in the workshop.
This is one program within the framework of cooperation between the two countries (Binh Duong Vietnam) and Thailand to promote and expand the comprehensive economic cooperation for the development of the two countries, thereby to push up the association and further enhance the trade between Binh Duong and Thai enterprises.
At the seminar, Mr. Trinh Tuan Kien had a report on the role and responsibilities of GS1 Vietnam in guiding and supporting enterprises to apply GS1 bar code symbology, facilitating the supply chain as well. as for supporting industry.
To facilitate the program, the meeting organizing committee arranged trading desks for businesses in the province and Thai businesses can exchange and share direct cooperation in the hall. In addition, to promote trade promotion activities between the two countries (Binh Duong Vietnam) and Thailand, Becamex IDC Corporation gave lectures on the fields, on the project inviting investment into Binh Duong for enterprises to participate in the seminar to learn more about the market and investment attraction of Binh Duong.
