STAMEQ welcomed Mr. Patrik Jonasson – GS1 Public Policy Director at AP region

On 6^th December 2016, Mr. Patrik Jonasson – GS1 Public Policy Director at AP region – visited GS1 Vietnam and had a meeting with STAMEQ. Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai – STAMEQ Deputy Director together with representatives from his related departments welcomed Mr. Patrik. The subject of the meeting is about the co-operation between two parties to expand GS1 system better in Vietnam.

At the meeting, both shared general introduction and main activities of each organization as well as experiences of numbering and bar coding application. Both sides discussed about co-operation abilities to support GS1 Vietnam to improve itself. Both agreed to plan one training programme on Global Data Standards (GDS) in Vietnam with other specific activities such as to support GS1 Vietnam to reform itself and to have a chance of participating in one GDS pilot project hosted by APECT & GS1 and to approach custom for GS1 keys applications.
